The Commercial Operation of the Bison No.4 Solar Project in Japan
Bison Energy announced today the commercial operation of the BISON No.4” Solar Project in the Fukui Prefecture in Japan, and Bison Energy Japan will be the O&M company for this project in the next 20 years.
This power plant is located in Eihiji, Yoshida-Gun, Fukui, Consist of 4246PCS 335W of JA solar Bifacial modules, totally 1422.41KW Kw in DC. The project will generate approximately 1,746.36MWh of electricity annually, which represents an annual reduction of approximately 549,230kg of CO? emission. HOKURIKU Electric Power Company will purchase all electricity generated by the plant with JPY21/kwh during the next 20 years.
Bison Energy K.K. is professional at renewable energy power generation business, we develop from green field, such as land sourcing and acquisition, utility and METI application, land related development permission etc. The whole development procedure costs around 18 months. The construction of BISON No.4 Solar Power Generation Plant will be constructed at Q1 of 2020 and will be commissioning at Q2 of 2020. The power generation equipment will be installed with JA Solar panels and HUAWEI inverters.

The solar power generation projects under development are almost 100Mw in total in Japan. Bison energy K.K. also has started to develop biomass power generation plants since 2017. At present the biomass power generation plant project under development is totally 10Mw in Fukui city. Since 2018, the solar farms in Australia under development are total almost 700Mw. Those farms are located in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. We expect that the solar farms will be commissioning within the next couple of years and they will contribute to the local clean energy business.
